Ms. Adeyemi utilizes an eclectic approach to psychotherapy, as she believes that treatment should be informed by the needs of each client. Ms. Adeyemi utilizes these models to provide a framework for treatment while adjusting to the nuances that make each person unique and special. Ms. Adeyemi values building authentic relationships with clients and creating a warm and safe space for others to feel comfortable expressing themselves and being themselves in therapy. She has a gentle and empathetic approach, as she believes that therapy should be a place where we should feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Ms. Adeyemi views goal setting as a collaborative process between the therapist and the client and always strives to meet people where they are while forming goals that feel realistic and true to them.
Ms. Adeyemi received her Master of Social Work from Fordham University, specializing in a combination of clinical and macro-social work. She completed internship and work experiences in various settings, such as outpatient psychotherapy in a hospital setting, community mental health, and nursing homes, and has been able to work with a vast variety of ages across the lifespan. She has also worked with a variety of diagnoses, including anxiety. depression, trauma, stress, grief, and life transitions. She is a certified clinical trauma professional and is ready to help aid clients in feeling empowered to make progress in becoming their best selves.
Ms. Fredericks integrates evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), always adapting her work to the unique history and needs of each client. Ms. Fredericks creates a space for clients to explore how early experiences and cultural context shape their present struggles, particularly with sensitivity to issues of race and gender.
With clinical experiences across hospitals, outpatient programs, private practice, and community settings, Tracy brings a warm, thoughtful, and culturally responsive lens to her work. Clients describe her as calm, steady, and deeply present, someone who helps them feel safe while undergoing transformative work.
Tracy earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and is committed to providing affirming, identity-aware care that respects the full complexity of each person’s lived experience.
